🎥 Throwback: My Live Q&A from Designer Boss Summit #10

This week has been such a blast with Summit #11 — I thought it would be fun to throw it back to our previous summit.

At Designer Boss Summit #10 (aka Design Prom 🎉), I went live for a big Q&A session with hundreds of designers tuning in. Honestly, it was one of my favourite parts of the whole event — unscripted, real, and full of questions designers are actually asking.

Here’s what we covered:

  • Should you stick with WordPress, Divi or Elementor… or is Squarespace/Wix enough for a simple portfolio site?

  • How to deal with site speed, SEO and alt text without drowning in jargon.

  • Why you don’t need to master every page builder (Divi, Elementor, Cadence, Webflow etc.) — specialising in one will save your sanity.

  • The truth about using your photo on your website — and how showing up authentically helps attract the right clients.

  • Why I recommend multi-page websites over single-page sites, especially if SEO and growth are on your radar.
