Do I Need to Learn Coding to Use WordPress?

by

If you’ve ever thought, “I want to build websites, but I’m not techy” – you’re not alone.

The good news? You do NOT need to learn code to use WordPress. In fact, many designers I work with (including myself for 13+ years!) are creating beautiful, high-converting websites with zero coding knowledge.

No-Code Web Design Is Totally Doable

When I started, I didn’t know how to code either. I felt like a fraud – trying to build websites without “real” developer skills. But then I discovered the tools that changed everything!

With the right theme and plugins, you can build almost anything: shops, blogs, portfolios, service sites… all with drag-and-drop builders and visual editors.
You don’t need to touch a single line of code if you don’t want to.

How WordPress Makes It Easy

I teach my students to use tools like Divi and Elementor (there are others too!) that work with WordPress and make the design process feel like using Canva – click, drag, edit.

WordPress powers over 40% of the internet. It’s not just for tech pros, it’s for creative people like you who want control and flexibility without needing a degree in computer science.

You can read more about WordPress, and my answer to the very common question: “is WordPress easy to learn?” here in my blog.

But What If I Want to Learn Code Later?

That’s the best part. You can start without code and grow into it later, if you ever want to. WordPress is scalable – from complete beginner to advanced dev, all in one platform.

Free WordPress Training

Don’t let coding hold you back from learning WordPress. There is so much fun, beauty and HUGE income potential waiting for you if you’re willing to learn. You can start now – without confusion, overwhelm, or needing to be “techy”.
